Default Search problem !

Hi

Firstly may i say i am very glad to have found such a great forum and on pics too. Now to th problem:- if i use the search feature to find relevant topics iget a list of relevant topics but when i click one i get sent back to the main page. If i want to read a specific post i have to trawl through all the posts to find it, all tho i have found a few good tips on the way it seems pointless having a search featurte you can't use properly.

Search seems to work fine for me. Make sure you are using search at the top of the page vs 'Search this Thread.' Can you give a specific example of what you are trying to search for?

Hi tinman10011001 thank you fo answering.

I clicked on the down arrow on search and a search forum box comes down. I type interrupt and pressed return. I get a list of all the threads across the hole forum with the word ' interrupt ' in. If i click any of these thread titles i get sent back to the home page. I hope thiis enough information to help solve this little problem.

What i am looking for is how to do a timer interrupt on a pic16f84a.

Try to give as much detail as possible -- ie the browser you are using, that you are logged in, and type 'interrupt' as a search term. Assuming your using IE do as ElectroMaster advised, right click on one of the offending links, select 'copy shortcut', and then paste link.

Here are some links on this site that I would check out that might help you.

I'd also check out piclist.com, and possibily this book:
