pop-up ads - Electronic Circuits Projects Diagrams Free

Hi this is probably just me, or something on my end, but anyways....

I seem to be getting pop-ups when I hit the main forum listing page. They are from " mamma media solutions " here is where they take you to : http://www.mammamediasolutions.com/p...tml?md=11-4392

I checked for the ususal suspects on my PC as in spyware, etc, no traces. BTW this was the first site I went to on opening IE , from the google homepage.

Just curious.... thanks

You can never be sure of that. Spyware seems to be a bigger plague then virusses. I wouldn't be surprised if even the newest spyware scanners can't detect everything.

You're right, but what I found odd was that it had only happened when I was on the index page here. I have been running a pop-up blocker for a while now, so I was not sure if these were new ones getting by it, or what was going on.

It's always a technology race..LOL.

Thanks for the confirmation, I did find the source of the pop-ups. Took a fourth spyware program to nail it.... but it is gone now.
