Arrow Exam Paper Question

I cannot solve this exam question please help me to solve this out.

For a Transistor below specifications are given.

Vcc = 5V
Vce(SAT) = 0.2V
Vbe(SAT) = 0.8V
Vbe(ACT) = 0.7V
b(Beta) = 50

Find

1)Ic
2)Ib
3)Vbe
4)Vce

I agree, your data supplied is incomplete.
That's why rezer asked for the circuit.
There should be a base resistor value as well as collector resistor.
That's required for basic fixed biased bjt circuit.
To get Ic, you need Ib, to get Ib, you need Rb.

Get what I mean!

Also note that we don't mind helping you but we won't do all the work for you - at least make a reasonable effort.

Since the exam was 49 days ago, what was your answer? What was the correct answer?

I think this exam question was shown with a schematic on at least two other forums.
It was extremely simple.

i know how ur circuit looks like. u first need to check in which mode the transistor is operating. If it's operating at the Saturation mode(SAT), then Ic=(Vcc-Vce)/Rc, where Rc is the value of the resistance between Vcc and Vce. Pls show me the circuit and i'll solve it all.

This is over three months old he passed or failed his exam ages ago so there's nothing we can do about it now.

Hi,

For the saturation specs all i could come up with as that Rb=43.75*Rc,
but without knowing anything else that's about it.
It looks like the OP flew the coupe anyway.

Presumably that would be an Air Coupe?

Sorry, MrAl, I was messing with you and making fun of your spelling. I think you meant "coop".

Ron:
Yeah, i speeled that rong , he he :-)
If you look at some of my posts you will almost always find at the bottom:
"Reason for editing: Spelling"
I have a habit of typing faster than i can spell :-)

vinod:
Actually i was serious, as the original poster seemed to vanish and not
bother to come back to find the replies. Without further input from him/her
we cant proceed with this discussion, that's all i meant.
