Default PIC18F870 controlled fanbus

This PIC controlled fanbus allows to control the speed of 6 fans with PWM.
It uses 4 7segment led displays wich are multiplexed and the PWM is generated in software.

Have fun.

How does this one differ from an ordinary fan regulator (using triac trigger circuit ), other than controlling six fans at once?
