I want a timer which is off for 14 days and "on" for 3 seconds. Can any one give me a circuit diagram? Can this be done with 555 timer?

14 days off is not possible using an NE555. Even using the CMOS-versions (TLC5555) you can get a max delay of appoximately 3 minutes. A possibility might be using an MCU and a RTC (real time clock). Boncuk
