Hello my first post here. I want to run a LED strip light its 96cm long. The specs on power needed are work current .64A, power 7.6 watts. These are the lights you can cut every 3rd light off to trim to size. My question is would 10 C cell Ni-mh batterys with 5000mah run this light strip? And would it run it for at least 8 hrs? Thank You

What is the voltage drop across the Led strip? 10 Ni-mh C cells are going to be quite expensive, could you not just use a 12V SLA battery? Jim

For the industry I'm in Ive designed a light. The batteries would go inside the support for the light. Was hoping this would work,And be able to plug a charger into a socket on the side of the light. The batteries would be in series ----------.We generally use small wheelchair batteries. Trying to make this a one piece outfit.

Ahh ok. I can't see an obvious reason why it shouldn't work. Jim
