Hi, here's my Halloween project. It's a talking skull dice made using a TalkBotBrain talking PIC controller. ![]() The random number for the dice "roll" is generated using the 16bit psuedo random RNG from Microchip's AN544. After pressing the skull, the TalkBot speaks the dice number (1-6) then plays 1 of 6 scary movie sounds, then speaks the number again. The skull eyes light up when speaking, also after speaking the eyes flash the dice "roll" for 2 minutes (to avoid arguments!) before it goes into low power mode again. ![]() You can see more about the project here; TalkBotBrain.com Source Files | |
