Hello everyone! I'm working on a project and was wondering how difficult would it be to build a circuit board that performs the following example... Tom enters a 3 digit number from a flush mounted numerical pad (lets say 100). The 3 digits display onto a flush mounted 7 segment digital display. Then Tom pushes a flush mounted "Start" button. This starts a motor. Connected to the motor shaft is a homemade Hall effect switch (see picture - http://joethepro.yolasite.com ). When the 2 contact points connect, a chip counts the connections as one. When the contact points reach the number Tom entered at the beginning (100) the motor stops running and the number stays on the display. If Tom wants to enter another number, he presses a flush mounted Clear button and the 7 segment digital display resets to zero's. Joe Last edited by joethepro; 23rd October 2009 at 11:59 PM. | |
