Are you going to vend paper by the ream or sheet. Or in packets of 10 sheets ?
If you are going to do single sheets I would leverage the paper handling from a photo copier or heavy printer.
Small packs or reams should not be too hard.
But I expect this is a school project and you just want to know about the electronics ?
