Kindly help me with circuit diagrams and programming of how to operate a relay ON/OFF from a PC port.

I am using QBASIC.

Well, from what I know it's very simple hardware and software wise. But I know nothing about programming. Here are some pages that should help you out.

I've seen more too. It's a very popular little thing. Look on google to find more.

There are some pre-assembled boards you can find if you look on google too.

i have a circuit that can be used for 3 relays via the RS232 port, if this is what you want.
please tell me if you need it, and i will scan it. (sorry for not posting it now, but i have to go).
