I need to buid mic preamp with ALC . Any ideas , pls help .

 

National Semiconductor Application Note, AN-20, figure 24 is an oscillator but if the oscillator R-Cs are removed, it is a constant level output amp.

:idea: Checkout Analog Devices's SSM2167 IC. It has all the bits you need. Runs on 2.5 to 5.5V..

Yes, I've stumbled accross Analog Devices's SSM2167 IC. Does anyone know where I can buy one in the UK? AD's website will only let me buy a minimum of 250 units. I only need 5!

Dan_aka_jack.. I pm'd you. I think if you buy 'Direct' from AD, they'll think your a distributor/supplier. You need to ask them for distrubutors in UK.. Not AD not had chance to search yet, Farnell, Arrow, RS etc may now be stocking them??

I've just requested some samples from AD. They are currently reviewing my request. I'm not holding up a huge amount of hope because I was honest in my request!

If that fails I will contact all their UK suppliers. The only one I've tried so far is Farnell - who don't stock it. Bummer!

Crofty, when you ordered samples, how long did they take to arrive?
