| New Member | hello all i am building a function generator for my college project, which will cosist of a no. of waveforms, their amplitude and frequency controlling knobs along with display of magnitudes. what i require is the circuit diagram of the frequency counter. i am eagerly looking fwd to u ppl. i think a schimt trigger will be of use here. what do u think? plz provide me with a ckt diagram of a frequency counter. plz be fast, -tronix.

| Experienced Member | look up the MC14553B, it is a 3 digit BCD counter, made do the job. It was originally introduced by Motorola, now made by ON semiconductor (www.onsemi.com).
