Default need ckt to boost-up current

 i am in need of a ckt of current booster which is capable of boost-up current from 6mA to 600mA (approx). actually i need it to drive a dc motor on it which takes max current abt 500mA.
thanx for helping to a newbie

Dear, i think u need to control the speed of a motor. Is it right ? if yes you should look for a vaiable speed driver for this. Please tell if this is the case, i can help you.
If its just a matter or turning on and off the motor, i could not understand why u r asking to boost the current.
please tell in detail, u will be helped by others.

I guess he wants to build a robot and needs circuit
that could switch 500mA load (DC motor) on and off
using current signal that cannot exceed few mA.
You could try to use transistor. Note thta in order
to reduce power disipaion on transistor you need
to ensure it operates as switch (saturetad when on).
Unfortunatelly gain is usually low (ca. 10-30).
So 600mA/20=30mA (just an estimate), which is 5 times more
than 6mA you are looking for.
In other words you will need to use a darlingon transistor.
Make sure to use current limiting resistor in base circuit
of the transistor. If you plan on using microcontroller
with 5V output, you would need something like
(5V-2*.65V)/6mA = 617 Ohm or get nearest value such as
560 or 680 Ohm depending on gain (amplification factor) of
your transistor.

What kind of battery are you using? The ordinary 4cm X 2cm 9 volt will not supply that amount of current very long.
