I have a tranformer and i want to tace it a part but those E shaped platets a tightly glued togeter!

How cod i get the glue to let go?


PS:
Meaby sqezing the transofmer so the glue wod crack?(A 100 kg shod do)

I need to reasemdel the transformer to this:

I got it a part!!!

I just sqizet as hard as i cod and then hamerit whit a hamer!
All i have to do then is splitit whit a scrudriver!

PS:
I have to make them strait agen(they ware twistel badly)

 

i think i heard somewhere that another easy way to remove the epoxy was to boil it ...and then it just peeels straight off?

or am i jus talking rubbish! :lol:

By the way:
Im making a metal detector(very simple)!
Just 5 Parts (coil,transistor,capacitator,resistor and a batery)

 

It works !!!!

It can detect a big metal object in a range if 1 cm
