| Any idea? Can I implement a 555 timer IC instead of LM741 or LM324? So that whenever motion is detected, an LED will light up. | |

| Motion causes interference in ultrasonic waves. Then an opamp is needed to amplify the interference. A 555 is a switch or an oscillator, not an amplifier.

| Oh. Can i use other ICs other than GL3274? | |

| Ultrasonic is high frequency sound. The GL3274 is a preamp for an Infrared Photo-diode that is completely different. The GL3274 has a limiter that would prevent an infrared circuit from detecting motion.

| hmm. Any suggestions for an IC to use to connect the ultrasonic receiver circuit? | |
