    Default A litle transistor help?

Weel im saveging parts from circuits(like most of you do).

And got a circuit vith a vhole bunch of transistors(strange)

    Like on a transistor seas:
    MPS
    A92
    E B C

Like can someone explane this code?

And i think i got a transistor width curent limeting!
I like i got the diode to flash for a milisecodnd wen i aply curent to base.
But wen i use a ristor over base it stays on!!!(not shure whare is B E C)

That is an MPSA92 PNP high voltage transistor. With the flat side facing you, the pins are emitter, base, collector.

Yes thats right i tryd to shearch for MPS_A92 vith Yahoo.

Woow is this transistor faimos!(i wish i cod be that faimos  )

    PS:
To bad it only suports 100 mA but 300 V is a wow

    Default MPSA092

    hi,

you are trying to have this transistor to function like a switch right? you need another PNP transistor to drive that transistor and use a timer ic to make the led flash on & off.

    Its normaly wired

But wean i run curend in the base(directly)the LED maces a flash(1 ms long)but wean i put a resistor ower the base the LED stays on!

I think if run to much curent i the base and the transistor has a ower load shut down

    PS:
Im not tying to mace a LED flasher!:?

If I wanted so then i wod write:
I want to build a LED flasher and i dont know how.
