I am third year Diploma student.Now I built one project that is noise or sound to voltage conversion.Our target is convert voltage from audio frequency like human speech or noise.Then what is the function of IC 2917N

 

I tried a search on 2917N and got a lot of garbage. Can you give a better part number/make, model etc.
