Default double checking helps for sure

been designing the pc boards for eq tilt unit and looking at the mixer input section I realized I don't really need the op amps as I am using line level input devices (tv, mp3 player, stereo, radio)
ran through tina and no difference .
Mixer circuit I was/ am using
6 Input Mixer by IC 741 , LF351 ,TL071 Circuit Project Electronic

Default rebuilding schematic/ pc board

Removing 1 op amp and moving things around and got to wondering why is R16 and C8 in circuit?
the mixer I posted has these componets but in simulating I see no difference with or without?6 Input Mixer by IC 741 , LF351 ,TL071 Circuit Project Electronic
trying to cut down on number of IC's for more pc board real estate.
I presently have 4 stereo inputs utilizing 2 1/2 TLo74's
using the revised mixer I can eliminate at least 1 TL074.

It's to block any potential DC offset from the first opamp.
