this is the second post for me in this forum and i ask you about asimple digital project to make it in summer holiday in my collage
i want some suggestions about asimple digital project

try to make a security system with different levels of security using only AND NAND flip flops and inverters and timers

this can be done by cheap simple IC likes 4093 4013 4060 40106 but with experimentating you learn a lot and it keeps you of the street

look in the data sheeds of those IC

all what these IC can do can be done by a micro prossesor but still this is nice to play with
