Default Quick question

Building this circuit: here

If I need a 'jump start' option, can I simply install a pushbutton+ resistor in parallel with the transistor's C-E junction?

hi,
Your circuit is here.?

Why do you want to 'jump start' the osc.??
Its supposed to be a self starting osc.

Yes, it's the first circuit in that .pdf.

By jump start, I mean provide an initial voltage boost to the circuit so that the even if the voltage of the battery has fallen below the minimum voltage of the circuit, the jump start can provide a quick voltage boost to let the oscillator run for at least a cycle or two. After that it should be self sustaining, by my understanding.
