| New Member | output current = 2000mA.h/20hour = 100mA if 4 same AA battery are connected in series,the voltage will raise to 6V how about the capacities and output current of the 4 combined series battery? |

| Experienced Member | In series it will equal to one cell capacity.But the voltage will be sum of the total cell voltage. In parallel it will give you the same voltage as a single cell.But the capacity equal to the sum of the capacities.
