20 watts rms using class A is going to be expensive and generate lots of heat. A modern class A/B amp of the same power rating would be much more practical and you will not be able to hear a diffence in sound if your honest.

Here's a website where they seem to be fascinated with class A.

A bandwidth of only 100Hz to 10kHz is almost as lousy as an AM radio.
No bass and no sizzling highs.

What circuits are needed for the specified amplifier:
    1) 600 ohm input impedance.
    2) Enough voltage gain so that 10mV input produces 20W output into 8 ohms.
    3) Class-A.
    4) Attenuate frequencies below 100Hz.
    5) Attenuate frequencies above 10kHz.
    6) A power supply for it.
    7) Cooling for it.
