Default Data Acquisition systems

Hi everyone,

I'd like someone to provide me with free "links, e-books and projects "dealing with DATA AQUISITION systems and the automated smeasurments in general.

Thanks in advance.

National instruments (www.ni.com) has plenty of information on data acquisition hardware, software, methods, etc. Likewise, you can find quite a bit of information on www.omega.com. They publish a set of handbooks (which are free i think) that you can view online or get from your local rep.

I've purchased the low cost demo kit from Dataq - try them - www.dataq.com

The demo kit is relatively slow however it is a good place to begin.
