so my situation is, i have a ps3 remote control for movie viewing. that thing drains batteries so fast. yes i know it can last several hours but if your watching a movie the remote will be on and running away the battery. only after about 3 movies the remote is dead. i do not want to have to buy new batteries and replace them every 3-4 movies. so i thought just like the ps3 wireless controllers, i should power it via usb as well. so my question is, are you able to convert the remote control from taking battiers and wire somehow a litium ion battery and rig it so it will be charged via usb? if so, i know the process will be more extensive but any info on what to expect or how it should roughly be done would be appreciated. thanks | |

In your ps3 remote control what type of battery has? What voltage? How many batteries? Why not use high capacity rechargeable batteries?
