Has anybody found useful projects or ideas that use the TSL230 light-to-frequency chip?

Besides the ubiquitous finger oxygen meter and water translucence gauge, it seems that this rather unique sensor should be the basis for a wide variety of projects (but I can't think of any

).

evaluate LED color and light output.
Test CRT and LCD monitors for color matching with printer.
