| Hi, I am trying to mix a 16MHz sinewave and a 100kHz sinewave together. so far ive found mixers similar to this: http://docs-europe.electrocomponents...6b80032a53.pdf But that one has a built in oscillator which i dont need since i have both LO and RF signals. I just simply need to mix my LO and RF to get the sum and difference signals. Can anyone help? Thanks. | |

| You can use an LM1496. See the suppressed carrier modulator on p.4. You can get by with a single supply, with proper biasing. If you don't need amplitude information, you can make Re (pins 2-3) zero ohms. You only need about 0.5v p-p for good limiting. Last edited by Roff; 4th March 2008 at 08:03 PM. | |
