That's very impressive.

I had a problem with your website though; none of the pictures were displayed.

I didn't know it was possible to use the displays from old mobile phones.

What about the displays from calculators?

It sounds silly to buy expensive LCDs when they can be found in cheap consumer products.

The Nokia displays have been mentioned on here many times, and there's lot's of info about them on the net - other ones aren't as simple though.

Good, someone has awaken an old thread!!
So let me add something to it!!

Check out my version of thermometer using nokia 3310 LCD with ATmega8 and DS1621 temp. sesor (i2c compatible)
