| New Member | i finally got the leds to pulse to music using a lm386 chip. pin 2 & 3 are the audio input, i can make it work by taping it into my psp's headphone jack, but for audio input, i want to use a mic, instead of speaker, how can i get signal from mic to go into audio in - +? i been trying all sorts of transistors mics ect, but cant seem to find articles online, thanks

| Experienced Member | If you connect a 10uF capacitor beween pin 1 and pin 8 then its voltage gain is increased to 200. Then you can bias an electret mic as its input.
