Analog has a spectacular aura about
Default Recommended way to boost op amp voltage output?

Adding an emitter follower push pull stage will boost opamp current output, but is there a way to boost the opamps voltage output easily?

Most opamps are limited to rails of +/-15VDC, or thereabouts. Suppose I want to swing +/-100V, without bridging. I'm wondering about adding an external circuit that would do this, and still allow for feedback in the op amp with a voltage divider or such. I know that there are power opamps out there that will do this, but I'm seeking a more discrete solution. Thanks.

Use transistors to boost the voltage output, it's a common technique - used in the Texas opamp amplifiers way back in the 741 and 748 days. I seem to remember that Practical Electronics did a version called 'The Texan'?.

Nope - did a quick google, it was Practical Wireless in 1972.
