hi ppl,

I urgently require the following two designs.

1. 1ghz/2.5 ghz frequency counter using icm7216 (frequency counter ic from intersil).

2. Interface of the above circuit with a PC. The pc is only to be used as a display unit and the frequency measurement is to be done by the above circuit.

The two designs are separate ie. in the 1st the display unit of icm7216 is to be used for display and in the 2nd, pc is to be used for display.

can anyone help me with he circuit diagram and the related design.
if you can help me with the theoritical background, it'll also do ..
it is very very urgent as i need to submit the above in 2 days ..
