Default Changing the connector on a steering wheel

G'day All,

I am new to the forums but I am looking for info changing a DB15 connector on a Mad Catz Puma GT steering wheel to be able to connect it using usb.

This may involve changing the connector to DB9 first or if anyone knows how, just converting it straight to usb, either by a plug change or and adapter, etc. Open to any suggestions.

Cheers,
Matt

Presumably it would require a processor to convert the data, and a custom driver on the PC? - I wouldn't have thought it's in any way trivial?.

USB to legacy game adapters are available for about $20 retail. They say they only work with analog peripherals.
