Question I need -12V to connect a home DVD player in the car.

Hi!

The power supply of the DVD player send +9,+5,+12, and -12Vdc.
To obtain +9 I use a 7809 regulator, to obtain +5V i use a 7805, and 7812 to +12V...
Now, i need obtain -12Vdc in aprox. 200 to 500 mA.

You will need to buy or build a isolated DC/DC converter. You should be able to google for them. Be sure it's a isolated design.
