i want to make a water sensor sensor for the water tank in our house since one its fills up it leaks for a half an hour . any ckts. i have decided to use a strain gauge for sensing . will it work.

also

i need to make a ckt for our sequential circuit teacher any ideas ??

No, but a simple float switch would though.

Water we use have it self resistance put two electrodes one in bottom other floating check the floating electrode's resistance in compare with bottom one
... use pure steel rods

today our teacher gave us some ideas of what we should make as our project:

electronic door lock

light operated power switch

automatic digital controller

automatic water level controller

so should i work on any of them or have you guys got some other ideas??

If all the projects listed carry equal class marks, choose the easiest project.

That is, the automatic water level controller, using a simple float switch.

If you are doing the project to learn as much as possible, then do the automatic digital controller.

not a good idea - steel will corrode. use stainless steel or gold plated. SS is pretty easy to find, that's what I use.
