| Announcing two new kits in development. Should be available in a month or two. Kit #1 Pelican Prototyping Board & Mongoose Piggyback with USB to RS232(TTL) A partial schematic shown below. First blueroomelectronics kit to use a SSOP IC (FT232RL) It can be attached to the top of a Mongoose robot kit and can be connected to the Mongoose TTL RS232 port. Makes a USB bootloader/downloader possible. Also works nicely as a standalone prototyping board. Will probably add a couple of switches and LEDs to the USER connector. Kit #2 (Not shown) will be a USB to RS232, RS422 & RS485 adapter Very similar to the FT232 but includes a MAX3160 Multiprotocol Transceiver IC. Not yet named, think of Robin (RS232 etc...) ![]() Last edited by blueroomelectronics; 23rd September 2007 at 12:42 AM. | |
