| Hi, I've been asked to build a device that can mimic the sound made by a geiger counter. Just need an audio generator that can be controlled by a pot to vary the 'intensity' or rate of the clicks produced. Any ideas on this one? | |

| I think the pulses of sound from a geiger counter are with random spacing. Make a random noise generator. Filter out its high frequencies. Then differentiate the resulting low frequencies into pulses.

| That would give a regular rate of clicks, he wants an irregular click rate.
