First of all, you need a digital camera that can be triggered electronically. Most digital cameras don't have readily usable external triggers, so you have to hack them (i.e. take them apart and modify them) in order to be able to electronically trigger them. Many cameras have been figured out, and most of these have been done in order to take pictures from a kite. So I'd search Google for "kite digital camera" and see what turns up.

Here are some specific links to check out:

This one is a pretty good and inexpensive digital camera that has been hacked:

The next problem is the transfer via wifi to the PC, if you don't already have the camera look at http://www.cnet.com.au/digitalcamera...0060162,00.htm then searc ebay for a model. Or on a completly different approach get a wireless IP camera and software. These cams usually come with a basic security package to do exactly this type of work.

If the guy you were talking to is so clever, why doesn't he show you how to do it?

As suggested, you can get IP wireless cameras that do exactly what you're looking for!.

ip wireless cammeras? how exspensive are they because i need to make 5 to 10 of them for a building it might sound random but were going to put them in a haunted house and see if we can get any paranormal evidence just stating has no relevance go on
