I am in the process of trying to build a microphone to record telephone converstaions on cellular phones. The recorder I have has both a microphone jack and a headphone jack. What I would like feedback on is, Is it possible to cut the leads for a set headphones, and solder the leads to the leads of the mini microphone that I have? I have noticed that there is four wires located inside the housing of the headphones, but if someone could lead me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
