voice generator
i have to come up with something called "delayed voice generator"
the theory is somewhat simple (in my opinion)  input voice, delay by a certain amount of time, output this is meant for folks that have problems speaking properly (stammering..) any ideas will be very much appreciated (or just point me in the right direction)  |

What about using a ECHO circuit instead of a delay by a certain amount of time.

first of all, thanks for the quick reply (it was really quick!!)
i did some research on the Internet but i can't really find anything useful  actually i was thinking of writing up a program (start from scratch) so my question is this, is there any programming language that accepts vocal input and the data stored can be manipulated? by the way, i am only familiar in C++ and a little bit in Matlab (excuse me for my inexperience) also, do i need any hardware to make the 'delayed voice generator' work? again, thanks for the help!! |

then is it possible to use Matlab language to perform this as well?
what i meant was can Matlab accept audio input? this is because i don't really have any experience using VB also, what kind of hardware should i look for? PIC?microcontrollers?  i was thinking of using a mic to accept sound input and output using speakers what happens in between is up to the 'hardware and software' section hopefully someone can provide me with the specific model to use (hardware i mean) *wink wink* |
