 need help building a radio remote control using DTMF i have the schematics and components of making the remote control that will control 4 devices using DTMF as the control codes.(circuit at www.freeelectroniccircuits.com).the transmitter consists of a DTMF generator (IC UM91214B) and an fm transmitter. i just couldnt find that IC anywhere, i please would like to know if the IC tp5089 could replace it,since it is also a DTMF generator.kindly assist if you can.thank you | |

| No idea, but DTMF remote control is an incredibly old and outdated technique, try looking up the Holtek remote control IC's (or use a PIC to do it). | |
