Lightbulb Control my Robot Arm!

Hi All ,

am working nowadays in building a robot arm controlled via a very simple joystick , am working with three stepper motors and control them with a PIC micro controller ,

my problem is : i need to control this motors with a remote control , i have no idea how to build my own remote to control such arm .

could anyone please tell how to start and where to learn about remote controla nd then upgrade myslef to be able to build my own .

thanks in advance in case you have any PDF file or tutorial for remote control circuits .

Check my PIC tutorials, there are IR and radio examples, plus reading an analogue joystick.
