Smile Solar powered lead acid battery charger plus Inverter

Need a reasonably simple Solar powered lead acid battery charger circuit diagram plus (12 V DC I/P) Inverter circuit (110/240V AC, 50 Hz, 1A, O/P), inclusive of relevant circuit details, as a training project for budding electronics students. Would be highly obliged if these can be provided.

Google will help you with the inverter.

A simple LM317/338 can serve as a lead acid battery charger.

to charge the battery just put a diode between the panel and the battery, at most you'd want a transistor as a current regulator in the event that the panel voltage is a lot higher than the battery voltage
