can anyone help with advice on using a broadband tv masthead amplifier as an rf preamp for a 8oomhz wireless mic rx.

search the web for ATV and 23cm.
here you could find schematics about transmiting
TV images.
But they use it for 1300 mhz.
And you also need a license to do this.
I am not a licensed radioamateur, but maybe in
the future.

This is not for transmitting. The antenna coax is so long that the loss is too greatfor the diversity receiver to operate. Am only using masthead amplifier as an RF preamp for the receiver. Is there any problems with doing this?
