| Super Moderator | Power calculations are based on transistor parameters (hfe) and the component values (for biasing) are selected using various biasing formulae. To learn how design transistor biasing circuits refer any good Basic Electronics text book. You'll batter understand biasing from it rather than explainging it over here (lack of Font Formatting capability))
