Default about an amplifier

Can you suggest me a amplifier circuit of any use?I need to know the role of the componets, the function and the processing to find the rate of the componets.

transistors are much used in amplifier circuits.
sometimes even tubes.
take a look at this

Power calculations are based on transistor parameters (hfe) and the component values (for biasing) are selected using various biasing formulae. To learn how design transistor biasing circuits refer any good Basic Electronics text book. You'll batter understand biasing from it rather than explainging it over here (lack of Font Formatting capability))
