People spend huge amounts of time on their doctorates going over the various details of circuit compensation methods and there are as many people that are sure they have the one true answer as there are one true answers. Any further discussion past that is flogging a dead horse.
10/10 for your English assignment, a well written piece of work!

Wow, you people are interesting. 300 meters over the head? School project? Rather than try to build imaginay profiles of the people posting, you could simply answer the questions that are asked. This forum should be a place for people to share ideas and information, not a place for a few to try to build their own egos. I to have developed and image of what kind of people some of you are, but no need spell it out here. I have heard this forum has a reputation for this kind of thing. I see it is well deserved. By the way, I've been out of school nearly 20 years. Good thing is, I actually did get some helpful information from Nigel out of all this.

You have to bear in mind, people here are giving advice for free, so are probably entitled to a little humour?

Why do I have to pick on the one guy that isn't actually trying to do their final year project in the forums? =) Sorry if I offended didbird but if you scroll through the forums here and look at what the average poster is asking for with only two or three posts... Believe me the profile isn't imaginary! I don't have much of an ego, but I do shoot my mouth off a bit too much. Usually the louder I am the more wrong I am. I just hope I'm actually saying something useful every now and then. =}
