The A3986 is designed to be used with mosfets. Why do you want to use bipolar?

I wont build stepper driver (with A3986) for bipolar stepper motor and I cann't find any scheme or PCB. I know A3986 use mosfets like IRF 540, but I donn't have experience design new project.
