| can anybody tell me how do dc- to ac converters work??? what came to mmy mind was to use oscilators but then i am am confused that how it would work. can anybody tell me. | |

| They use an oscillator, transformer & transistors. Try searching for Power Inverters.

| Some inverters use a modified sine output, which is a step approximation. Still others use 2 oscillators, one at high frequency on the initial stage used to boost voltage, while keeping magnetics small, and a secondary 60Hz oscillator on the final stage for the output section. It all depends.

| Why do you want a ground?, and if you do - then simply connect one of the output wires to ground. | |
