| i have made a system for a combination lock using a pic, 4026 (It counts clock pulses and returns the output in a form which can be displayed on a seven-segment display.), and a system where pressing one button adds up a digit in the code and pressing another enters that digit into the code. i have been asked to test this system and i dont know what that means. i have thought about trying it in different temperatures and with different batterys but apart form that i dont know what to do... it asks to have an appropriate testing procedure for the system, it doesnt say about testing invuvidual subsystems so id ont have to do that right?

| The test should show that the lock works properly and that it cannot be unlocked without the proper code.

| Ask the person that asked you to test the system exactly what they expect to be tested. | |
