Default i need help of controlling the cellphone with a PIC!

hello there everyone, is it possible to interface the PIC and a cellphone and the PIC side controls the functions of a cellphone? if so how is it done. i need to know if it is possible, its for my upcoming project.

Many cellphones (certainly Nokia ones) have an interface socket on the bottom. For a start I would suggest getting the lead and software for your PC, and seeing if that allows you to do what you require!.

Assuming it does?, you can then duplicate the PC part using a PIC.

If you do a google search, there's a LOT of info about interfacing to Nokia phones, including details of the protocol used.

check out gnokii.
It is a linux program BUT due to that it is open source. they have some pretty good documentation of the protocols
