Default Needs IR Romote switch to put ON/OFF 230 VAC
Hi,
Can anyone suggest me how one can build remote switch. The range required is about 8-10 mt.

Use a pair of PIC's and an IR link, my tutorials give pretty well all that's needed.

Or you could try the Holtek remote control IC's (basically pre-programmed micro-controllers), they are quite cheap to buy.
